DearZindagi Hindi Movie Review at LiveAxom

The movie starring Alia Bhatt and Shahrukh Khan in the lead role movie is now in theaters. Gauri Shinde directs dear Zindagi. The character of Alia Bhatt plays a role of a dubbing director, “Kiara”. According to Kiara, her dream job is totally out of her reach, she is stuck in a rut, her landlord asks her to leave her apartment, which is in Mumbai as they think single women shouldn’t be allowed to live alone. Even her love life is also in a mess. Her parents are based in Goa. Kiara is very much like so many of us like right after breakup when a guy leaves you for no reason but just because of some other girl and you again continue with your life as if nothing ever happened but in case of Kiara she faces problems while sleeping and so she takes a break for a month in Goa from her busy schedule. On her break time she reaches to the doorsteps of Dr. Jehangir Khan i.e. Jug character played by Shah Rukh Khan for a therapy at his mental health awareness gathering. His way of dealing with the people suffering from mental health, issues surprise Kiara. Alia plays an affable Kiara role. The film is all about living life happily with the problems and dealing them without worrying about bad situations. Alia can only portray the rawness of a women’s life aside from all this her character in this film gives a major sense of déjà vu comparing to the last bit of her screen timing same as Highway. The film has nothing much new too many scenes are very much familiar with repressed feelings, the letting goes message etc. Shah Rukh Khan played his inimitable charm; he knows when to bring Alia as a lead and when to step ahead. The supporting cast includes Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar and Yash was in Dayama they all did their job well.

DearZindagi Hindi Movie Review at LiveAxom

Director Gauri Shinde has done quite a decent job with this film. Her first film English Vinglish left an unforgettable impression and that film might not have left you with a smile or tears. Therefore, expecting too much from Shinde after her first film was obvious. The film could have been better from being much like a protagonist who is stuck in a trench. Songs are quite breezy by Amit Trivedi as his music is lighter. Looking at the shots of the film, he did very job by staying tuned with the way of film. The song loves you zingadi is a likable brain worm.

It’s a one time watch movie. Watch this film for Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan’s onscreen friendship. The movie will take you on an emotional journey but will end up as a joyride which will not cost you any harm to watch it once.
