For a particular community, how things went changed right after the assassination of Prime Minister is clearly depicted in this movie. The period drama depicts the life of a family who survived under hard times after the assassination and riots happened in a state. It also shows the political changes that happened and shook the nation completely. The thriller is coming with many ups and downs which will surely make the audience glued with the movie till its last. Just because it is directed under strict guidelines and the concept of the movie is inspired by true events, this is a major attraction of the movie. Soha Ali Khan has acted in different other movie before this including Khoya Khoya Chand, Tum Mile, comedy movies like Shaadi No.1 Dil Mange More and others handled the role of a wife who is curious to protect her children and deport them to a safe place.

Talking about Vir das, he is an exceptional Video Jokey and had a glorious career so far acting in the movies like Delhi Belly, Go Goa Gone and reivolver Rani. He also took this serious role for the first time and is looking brilliant with his dialogue delivery which makes the movie a must watch. Along with the direction, the music of the movie is also one thing which makes sense for the audience. The music is themes to that particular time and it shows the dediation of the director who depicted the same environment as it was realised by people at that time.

The songs in this movie are also blessed and penned by Mehboob Ji and this sentimental album is sung by many unconventional singers like Harshdeep Kaur, Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhosale and others. It would be a good option if you chose this movie for the weekend to watch as it will take you to a sensible jouney of riots and conditions of people living under that period.
